She always went the extra mile to help in so many ways. Couldn’t believe it when my son and I arrived at 5.30pm from Lower Hutt one evening to find the house lit up, curtains drawn, beds made up and food and drink left in kitchen for tea and breakfast next morning. We were gobsmacked and just so appreciative and grateful for all that she had done for us. Unbelievable! She also eased our minds when a weather bomb hit Hawke’s Bay a few days before settlement date and she went and checked the property at night to make sure it was alright.
