I was thinking I would sell our property myself. However I needed to get a couple of appraisals for price range. Mike presented in a very professional, caring and honest way, there was no pressure and with the fees being so reasonable I decided to offer the property to him. Home owners beware - Artizo are interested only in making a quick sale and getting their flat fee. What price your home sells for, does not matter to them. My sister and I were rushed through signing a false document immediately after our auction, which resulted in us paying thousands in penalty fees to the new owner, a foreign investor. As young home owners trying to sell our home, we dealt with three of their 'agents' - Mike Mattson, Te Rere Cleveland and Rawinia Matthews - and not one of them had our best interests in mind. When we raised our concerns with the company owner, Pernell Callaghan, he offered no support or sympathy and basically told us to drop it. You may pay more fees, going with a reputable agent - but, you will be dealing with a reputable agent. Steer clear of these cowboys.

When my wife and I decided to leave Auckland and come to Christchurch to live and started to look for a house we found Mike Pero had a lot to offer so we contacted them and they got David Brant to look after us. We found him polite, has a good sense of humor and most of all very helpful in finding us the property we wanted. He spent five of the six days we were in Christchurch taking us to houses to view. When we found the house we wanted, it was to be auctioned, so I asked David if he would do the bidding on my behalf and he said he would. I have never met a real estate agent as nice as David and would NEVER HESITATE to recommend him to anyone looking to buy or sell. I would give him 10 out of 10 David goes out of his way to help you.
