In a declining market, our preferred option was to sell. However, if we didn’t hit our bottom line, tenanting our property was our back up plan. We wanted to go with a flat fee agent to save on real estate fees but we were careful about who we picked as we still needed the agent to work for us as we were were well aware of market trends. We were upfront with Anna from the start and whilst we had a price expectation we also knew we may have been 2 to 3 months late with getting the price we needed.
