My Worst Mistake
I gave William an opportunity to sell my house. He was convinced that running an auction with a bold reserve was the best method. I trusted him. I previously had good offers with a previous agent that fell through. I gave William a chance. He gambled my house and sold it for 200k below value. I lost everything yet he still gets paid. Find a different agent you can trust and has your best interest at heart. Don’t risk your biggest asset with William. Thank me later

I’m disappointed to read your review, especially given the full process and decisions made throughout the campaign.
To clarify the facts, we first took your property to auction and achieved an offer significantly higher than the eventual selling price. After discussing all options presented to you, you chose to withdraw the property and proceed with a second campaign and auction strategy.
Unfortunately, the second campaign did not achieve the same result as the first. That outcome was not due to a lack of effort or advice on my part, but rather the decision made after all options and risks had been clearly explained in front of you.
Throughout the process, I presented every offer received, including strong offers, which you declined because of concerns from your previous experiences where contracts with other agents had fallen through.
It’s also important to mention that we later became aware of unconsented work at the property that had not been disclosed upfront. Had I known this from the beginning, I would not have taken on the listing, as transparency is critical in real estate and directly impacts buyer confidence and sale outcomes.
While I respect your right to share your opinion, I do not agree with the claims made about my integrity or intentions. I worked hard to achieve the best possible result for you under difficult circumstances.
