Already an accomplished and award winning agent, Warrick Harkness has over eight years experience in the real estate industry. In that time he has been a stand-out performer in Whangarei for both residential and lifestyle sales.
After working in the telecommunications industry, Warrick spent time working abroad, including Japan and the United States of America, before returning to New Zealand. He then upskilled in management and went on to establish his own tour company before moving into real estate with the Allens team (now Ray White Whangarei). With an entrepreneurial spirit, this former real estate rookie of the year fast went on to become a leading salesperson in the area, building a strong brand synonymous with success and service excellence, before stepping out and together with a business partner starting up their own real estate business. Years later they took the opportunity to merge this business with another independent real estate office operating in the Whangarei market, becoming a co-director of the company - and all while still actively working as a salesperson.
His experience and credibility saw him offered a National management role with a global risk-reduction business, which then led to the establishment and management of a Whangarei based Operations Center and later the management of offshore operations, teams and relationships. Wanting to prioritse family life led him back to his roots and in 2014 Warrick returned to sales with CB Norwood Distributors, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become their Regional Manager, before returning to real estate with Ray White Whangarei in 2021.
Together with his wife, Victoria and their two daughters, Warrick has called Whangarei home for over 27 years and has established a deep understanding and appreciation of the area. His market knowledge is second to none and is an invaluable asset to his clients. Warrick places high value in people, and over this time he has progressively built an outstanding database, grown an impressive number of loyal clients and gained great friends - knowing that integrity, empathy and respect are vital not only in real estate but in life.
