Vanessa was easy to deal and has a wonderful cheerful personality. In a market that has dropped substantially, we eventually got a sale, although not quite what we wanted. Vanessa gave us some free plants to fill some pots I had outside which helped the stoned area not look so bare. I was little disappointed overall as I just didn't feel Vanessa put enough urgency into trying to sell our property when she knew I was wanting to relocate overseas prior to winter. The initial contract was signed in December, but no For Sale sign was put up until January and then no open home times on the sign until I started querying things. I am well aware that I needed time over the Xmas period to do some clearing out and some finishing touches, but there was opportunities lost with no sign up outside the house. I have had houses sold in the past while work was still being carried out. Once open homes started, we didn't actually really there were no signs going out at the ends of our street for a couple of months, so more lost opportunities considering we lived near 2 high volume traffic areas. After contract was signed, we asked Vanessa to ask the buyer if they wanted to buy any of the Kitchen whiteware and some other items as the Kitchen was built around them. This was not carried out and when we had a discussion with the buyer, they said if they had known, they would have purchased the fridges as their fridge was going to be too large for the space available. We ended up selling them multiple items as they contacted us through items we had listed on Marketplace. We just felt there were a lot of promises made prior to us listing with Ray White that weren't quite up to what we were expecting and we did feel a little let down in the end.
