Hi Tracy Below I have written some thoughts regarding the sale we worked on with you. Please feel free to cut and paste from below as you need! Late last year we decided to sell one of our rental properties in West Auckland. Our mortgage broker recommended we list with Tracy Taylor; he had had good results and feedback from her previous clients. We did choose Tracy, and we have been absolutely delighted with the result she achieved. She impressed the importance of achieving a sale agreement before Christmas, which we fully endorsed. To this end she recommended a ‘sale by negotiation’ rather than an auction, because she knew she had FHBs who would respond quickly if they could avoid an auction. We were also keen to sell to a FHB, rather than another investor, so this resonated well with us. This turned out to be the case, and Tracy had a keen buyer lined up in very short order. She spent significant time helping the buyers through the purchase of their first home, which we really appreciated, yet the price Tracy achieved for us was above the top end of our expectations. It is measure of Tracy’s skill and professionalism, that both buyers and sellers were delighted with the result. Our decision to sell our family home at the end of 2022, as the house market was starting to tumble, meant moving swiftly but not snatching at any offer which came along. Tracy talked us through this and worked hard to get our property "out there" through Trademe, and to promote it to existing contacts, all without costing us a lot of money in promo fees. It paid off, with a sale for a fair price in June this year. Her commission was very reasonable also.
