Tommy was supportive in a way that didn’t make me feel any kind of pressure. He was transparent about the vendors pricing expectations, which was very supportive as a first home buyer, new to the real estate market. Tommy was flexible with his schedule, arranging a private viewing of the property, meaning I could bring a whānau member to view the property before I put my offer in. This was really helpful as a solo buyer. Tommy had a great knowledge of local council rules and consent requirements, taking time to explain things that were relevant to me and my property in a way that genuinely supported my understanding and didn’t ever feel condescending. As a wahine who didn’t have much knowledge in those areas, I appreciated this. A pleasant surprise to me was that my house in real life looked just like it did in Tommy’s real estate photos. Prior to viewing properties, people had warned me that they might not look as good in person, but this was not my experience when viewing my house. Tommy did an amazing job selling our home, especially in a slightly down market. It was our first home we had ever sold. He gave us lots of incredible advice which when we took all of it resulted in a much higher price than we expected and a very quick sale. That being said, he also managed our expectations about price really well. He was very candid and about what we could realistically expect, so we never felt like we were being overpromised (and hence why the final result was such a lovely surprise). He went above and beyond helping us navigate a lot of the tricker aspects and was always available to talk things through and support us however we needed. Communication was very good the whole way through. I would highly recommend using Tommy as your agent, especially if you are young and its your first time selling. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

To be honest, we didn’t have complete understanding of our own requirements for our first home. Tommy not only made us understand the basics but made us realise things we would need. The detailed information he gave me about the property left no room for questioning. He provided documents very quickly and was very responsive to my concerns. He was very consistent with the updates and follow-ups. I met him at open home of some other property which was not what we needed. He understood what we wanted and gave us options to our key interests. He showed us 2/12 bridge street which was exactly what we needed. Close to public transport, 2 to 3 bed freehold and a garage in Lower Hutt, Melling or Naenae. He is a very good listener with good vibes and professionalism. I’ve already recommended Tommy to my mates.
