About Tim

The farming industry and the people involved are at the heart of Taranaki, and central to why Tim is committed to supporting farmers through property sales and purchases. Tim is the fourth generation from an Irish dairy farming family in South Taranaki, and went to St Patricks College, Silverstream. Following that he spent time in Ireland and Australia in the building trade and playing rugby before coming back to the family farm and working his way into farm ownership. Twenty years later the farm can allow him time to follow a new path and become a rural real estate salesperson. Living just south of Hawera with his three children and a small collection of pets, Tim has an active role on the farm during calving, and then has it set up so he only has to oversee the running of the farm. This allows him to contribute to the farming industry in other ways. Tim places heavy importance on the role farming plays in our community and the people involved in it. He is a facilitator for Taranaki Rural Support Trust and assists the Trust with the wellbeing of other farmers when required. With school-age children, Tim also coaches some of their sports teams at times. Communication and honesty are always top of the list in Tim’s rule book, and getting the right outcome for you, the client, is paramount. The skills and experience he has gathered from his farming career over the years and the importance he puts on transparent relationships will ensure a successful ending to an exciting new beginning. Tim has 30ha of pine forest, having a strong ongoing relationship with TAML forestry management, and 10ha of manuka plantation with a business deal with Settlers Honey contracted with hives on his farms. He also has a connection with Egmont Honey owners. The Pine forest and manuka plantation are both registered for carbon credits through Jason Loveridge Carbon, a lot of research and understanding of this carbon market and the ETS has been explored by Tim . All of this over the years has built a network of relationships with people in these industries throughout Taranaki

Very satisfied vendors.

Our forestry block was not selling with another agent so we decided to change to Tim at Bailey’s. Tim was very in touch with the market, advised a more accurate price band and had a good list of prospective buyers. Block was sold within 2 months with very happy buyers and sellers.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Tim to purchase a new property. Tim had excellent communication skills, he did a great job at understanding the why and what was important to our family. He was really good at checking in, giving updates and always available for calls. Tim is very professional and Trustworthy. We would definitely recommend him.
