Tej Singh
Our experience with Tej as first-home buyers was deeply frustrating and far from what we expected when making such a significant life decision. From the very first open home, we felt dismissed. It was clear from Tej’s reaction that he wasn’t expecting two young buyers, and that attitude carried through the rest of the process. When we asked questions about the property — particularly around the recent renovations — we were given vague answers and told everything was “up to standard.” That turned out to be false. The electrical Certificates of Compliance provided were invalid, which caused serious delays during our conditional period. When we followed up about compliance documentation, Tej repeatedly avoided giving direct answers. Instead, he kept telling us how many homes he had sold — as if that somehow qualified him to speak on matters of construction compliance. Having worked in the construction industry for 6+ years, I know what needs to be signed off by licensed professionals, and honestly, his dismissiveness was unacceptable. As first-home buyers, we asked multiple times for recent comparable sales — something any good agent should be willing to provide. Tej didn’t send us anything and told us to “find them ourselves.” That lack of support was incredibly unhelpful and left us feeling completely on our own. To top it off, he called us at 10pm on a Saturday trying to squeeze another $10K out of us — which we found both inappropriate and unprofessional. We don’t take writing negative reviews lightly, but our experience left us feeling misled, unsupported, and disappointed. We would strongly caution other buyers — especially young or first-time buyers — to think twice before working with Tej. A little respect and transparency would go a long way.
