Being new to Christchurch, we didn't understand the market dynamics - current market prices; popular streets/areas; how auctions worked...let alone what to look for in post-earthquake houses. Having Tania to give us inside knowledge of what was worth spending our time looking at and what to stay away from made our search much easier. She took the time to understand our needs, but wasn't afraid to guide us if we were being unrealistic. We have bought multiple properties in the past in other towns, but we have never had the luxury of a buyer's agent before. Tania even did the bidding at the auction for us, using a range of strategies to keep us in the lead, and all agreed well in advance of the bidding.
