Our story is one we think is quite unique. We made an offer on a home with a condition of the sale of our own, with the only relatively unlikely risk that a cash offer would be made before we could commit to going unconditional within a few weeks. Long story short we went from having a realistic time frame to sell our home to literally having 4 days (7 if we count the days we weren't in a position to host open homes). The pessimists in ourselves as the vendors gave up hope the moment we heard the news of a cash offer on the property we were going for, which put a deadline on our end to sell and go unconditional within 7 days of the news. Steve kept the positivity high from the second we told him, almost barely flinching at the news of what seemed impossible, and moved into highest gear. Without putting us or the new buyer in a compromising position, taking great care to look after both sides, somehow by what can only be described as mastery - Steve delivered on his promise to try his upmost best for us as his vendors, he found us a cash offer on our home, above the price we expected and was able to put all three parties (new buyer, us as vendors and the our ew homes vendors) in a position to go unconditional with only 2 hours to spare before the deadline of us loosing out on our new home offer. I cant explain how much we felt Steve was just always on our side and we count our lucky stars that a friend got in contact with us and changed paths for us as we took a leap of faith and switched agents and went with Harcourts.
