Initial contact was very good with timely responses which encouraged us to choose Stephanie to sell our property. We met with Stephanie to discuss our strategy and decided on a 3-week deadline sale. Prior to this commencing it was suggested that we change this to a sale by negotiation which we refused. We then collected a copy of our printed marketing material that had the method of sale as 'sale by negotiation'. The property was posted on TradeMe with the headline method of sale as 'sale by negotiation' however at the end of the advert it did state 'deadline sale'. Week one of the open homes was good with limited feedback, week two we were advised that there would be no open home due to Stephanie's overseas travel to a conference and no one to cover the open home. Week three was on Mother's Day with a late afternoon timing....not ideal on this day! For us being told initially that Stephanie had all this support in the background but could not plan to have some cover on our second open home was very disappointing. Yes, Stephanie did sell our property, but did we get value for money and feel as though she had done the very best for us in terms of making the most of the open homes in a short campaign then our answer is no. We sold another property 18 months ago and the experience in that instance was exceptional so I'm afraid we wouldn't use Stephanie again.
