Stephanie was very interested in selling our property and gave us an appraisal. After we had signed up, everything changed. It felt as if she was acting for potential buyers rather than having our best interests at heart. She encouraged us to consider/ accept offers that fell well short of the lowest price in the range proffered in her appraisal. The ‘well-positioned property with development opportunities’ she raved about in our first meeting was now being described as derelict. When challenged about her use of this word, she justified it by saying that a window catch was broken and the window panes needed painting. When questioned about this she stated that she had overvalued the property. Our trust was completely broken. In the end all communication needed to go through her manager. Stephanie made the process of selling far more stressful than it needed to be.

It was over a decade since Peter and Steph first visited asking if we would consider selling. We advised only when the children had finished school. They backed off but promised to keep in touch, and true to their word, they phoned and supplied monthly market reports every year. This year, when we finally green-lighted going to market, they were both fantastic. They are a great team to work with, excellent communication skills, explaining the process and adjusting based on market feedback we could all work with.
