I first met Stephanie when our family was helping my father buy a house to downsize to. Stephanie was the agent for the house we ended up buying. We were so impressed with her knowledge, professionalism and warmth, we asked her to be our agent for the house my dad still had to sell. Even though the house was being sold through the winter months and a period of low market interest, we were able to sell in a comparatively short timeframe. Steph was instrumental in this. Once again Steph was a pleasure to work with. Her commitment to the task was exemplary – her communication was excellent and she was always willing to accommodate our needs, especially being mindful of not disrupting my elderly father’s daily routines. This was for my young daughter's first home purchase. I helped her with the process. 1. Stephanie knew the market very well - beyond the normal safe area, near shops, bus stop, school zones etc. She even knew the background of some of the neighbours! Minor, perhaps, but considered important details - especially for someone buying to stay in the house in a safe environment. Six stars for Stephanie for knowing the market beyond the norm. 2. Communication. Just talking to Stephanie - one would immediately feel a sense of trust - with her crystal-clear communication. This is especially important for a young first home buyer. Stephanie was not just an agent wanting to sell any house to anyone. Again, six stars for that trust that we had in her and clear communication throughout the whole process from the very first open home visit to handover of keys and even beyond! 3. Professionalism: We were late for the open home, but Stephanie was patient with us. Then, when we expressed serious interest on the same day, she went out of her way to organise a second visit on her off day! She may have had other offers and could have just closed the deal and ignored us. But she gave us that extra viewing opportunity to be fair to both the seller and us as potential buyers. She helped every step of the way carefully explaining what we needed to do to make an offer for consideration by the seller and within the clearly stated deadlines. Even the agreement was so fair to both the seller and potential buyer - eventually leading to a prompt close. But it did not stop there. Stephanie helped with identifying property inspectors that were available for an early inspection, and all the subsequent conditions to bring the whole sale to become unconditional. This transaction was such that both the seller and my daughter as buyer were happy with the whole process - including the contract terms and the price. Stephanie facilitated that and deserves 6 stars - if there were such higher ranking!
