With over 35 years of experience in advertising and marketing across the radio and newspaper industries, I bring an understanding of how to connect with people - and how to market a home with impact. My journey into real estate isn’t just professional - it’s deeply personal. Over the years, I’ve bought and sold 14 homes across the South Island, from Ashburton to Dunedin. My property journey has taken me from building a brand new home to lovingly restoring one of the region’s oldest villas, from a 60’s architecturally designed home and returning serviceman’s cottage in Timaru - a character triple brick mini mansion to a classic summerhill stone in Dunedin. I’ve navigated the complexities of investment properties, holiday homes, deceased estates, trusts, and shared ownerships. I know firsthand the emotions, decisions, and strategies involved in real estate - because I’ve lived them. Raised as the daughter of a publican and a sales representative, I was immersed in business and sales from an early age. This upbringing gave me an intuitive understanding of people, negotiation, and the value of good service. Outside of real estate, I have a passion for the strategic card game of Bridge. I play weekly on Alford Forest Road and take pride in leading the annual beginner lessons, helping new players fall in love with the game. Care and commitment

Sonia was wonderful in our search for a new home in a town we did not know . She listened to the brief well and get to know what we were trying to do , even with all the moving parts of our situation. Nothing was a bother for Sonia and she made excellent use of the short time we had and worked with us for a few re visits . We ended up purchasing a lovely home that will help us settle into the community and new chapter in ashburton .

Professional with a good vibe

Purchaser review

Sonia had very good understanding of what is important to an investor and was happy to allow us to check over property a couple of times at short notice to double check everything. Very easy to deal with.
