Shane was an absolute star right from the start. He explained the various documents to be signed and the marketing packages available perfectly (making it all totally understandable to my mum (88 years old) ) . All was done in a very sensitive way too as the sale was a big change for my mum. Shane went above and beyond throughout - advising us on how best to present the property and then organising and supervising various tradesmen to complete the jobs to a high standard at a reasonable price. Nothing was too much bother . Jen was also exceptional with the staging of the property - she advised us as to what should be kept and what should be removed prior to staging -we were blown away with the final look and the professional photos . Right throughout the whole process-. from signing up to completion of the auction - we felt supported and very confident that Shane (and Jen) would provide the best possible outcome - and they did!!
The reason I chose Shane Anderson for my agent was because I had previously spoken to him when he was the sales agent for my neighbours property. I found Shane very professional in knowledge of residential property sales,and easy to understand as he explained the sale procedure. As I was in the UK for part of the time Shane was very helpful in many extra ways, and always kept me informed and updated about the sale by return email or phone call without question. Shane and Jen Anderson sold our house in 4 days… let that sink in… FOUR DAYS!! We had only two open homes and the house went unconditional before the following weekend. We met with several agents before deciding that we were most comfortable with Amazing Team Anderson. Surprisingly, they were the only agents that actually went into our back yard and around the full front of the property to see it from all angles before leaving, on their first visit. We hadn’t even signed with them at that stage. No other agent was interested in checking the whole property. We felt informed the entire way through the process and trusted them implicitly. At no time were we left wondering about any aspect of the sale. Before the house went to market, we had several meetings on site with them and they had no problems giving us time to ask as many ‘silly’ questions as we could think of. Also, they made sure that we fully understood what they were telling us in all interactions. They advised us to undertake several changes to the décor or layout, and to update the paint in some places. We very willingly did all that they suggested knowing that all of us were interested in the best outcome on the sale. Jen also came in and helped us to stage the house, in some places using some of their own items to give the house the best possible look to a potential buyer. Things that we thought were fine as they were, Shane and Jen knew would not appeal to our buyers, and they were right. They clearly knew the local market. Jen is very pedantic in getting the home perfect for photos and viewings and this obviously worked out to be a blessing because the result they bought us was well above our expectations, both financially and in length of sale time. Shane is an excellent agent who is vastly experienced and dedicated.Not only does he "work" for the vendor,he is also very helpful towards the prospective purchaser. In our case,the market had significantly become difficult as financial institutions tightened their belts.He assisted the purchasers and gave them advice with regard to their finance & bank procedures as this was their first home. Shane and Jen were professional, tech savvy during level 4 lockdown, and very knowledgeable. Always approachable for the smallest question, and prompt to reply. They guided us through a very complicated title, and assisted in variations to our original settlement date that ultimately ensured a record sale price. We did not always agree on the advice they gave us, but we trusted them and followed their advice. I kept saying if it gets us a good price, it will be worth it. And it was!
