There are many good agents but are they great? I had a tricky property transaction where things didn't go to plan. It didn't start that way so when things went sideways I'm glad I had Shal as my agent. He is professional throughout offering solid advice and always considerate of my situation as a vendor. Shal is very flexible and will make time for requests that are not in scheduled. He is very knowledgeable and was very helpful to us first home buyers here in Auckland. As a Sales Person Shal is very accommodating and well mannered. If you put him in any Sales Position other than selling properties I am pretty sure he will as valuable as now!
By way of background, my wife and I are first-time home buyer. We had no idea about the process whatsoever when we first started taking a look at homes, or what to expect throughout the process. The amount of effort and time SHAL put into walking us through the process is unbelievable. From the first day that we met, he spent his entire time walking us through the “big picture.” From there on out, he was always available to provide us with the information that we needed (or didn’t need, but needed for the sake of my sanity) – every decision that I made, small or big, mattered to him Not only did I feel like I had all the information I need to make those decisions, but I also felt like I was in good hands. Especially because, as a first-time buyer, I didn’t know all of the right questions I should be asking. He would proactively provide this information, which made me feel like I was walking through this process with eyes wide open. Obviously, making an informed decision is the most important part of buying a home. But personally, as being “emotionally” invested as well in buying a home, having someone who properly set, managed, and came through with: expectations was such a lifesaver and made my family feel so at ease throughout the entire process. He was always so candid and provided their own perspective of different aspects of each home that he thought would be relevant to my decision making based on what he had learned about me. I truly appreciated his input and relied on it heavily. Again, for a first time this process is very stressful. Yes, there are a number of things that people can do to make it easier. But as you can see, based on the above, SHAL went above and beyond, truly made us feel like we had a confidant/partner throughout. Overall, I would strongly recommend SHAL to anyone looking to buy or sell a home, especially I would trust him with my eyes closed and their attention to detail and level of time/dedication to their clients is outstanding.
