My experience with Harcourts was significantly below expectations and did not reflect the level of professionalism required when selling a property. From the outset, the process was poorly coordinated and unnecessarily stressful. I was advised that the property was worth approximately 650K, a figure that appeared more aligned with securing the listing than with an accurate market assessment. Four months after signing the contract, the only offer received was 575K. There was a consistent lack of urgency, and the agreed‑upon sales strategy was not executed. Communication was fragmented, and I frequently had to follow up, restate instructions, and seek clarity on tasks that should have been proactively managed by the agency. The only positive aspects were that marketing and staging were covered, and Sam provided assistance with obtaining neighbour consents. However, these limited benefits did not offset the broader issues of inadequate execution, minimal accountability, and an overall absence of effective leadership throughout the campaign. Overall, the experience was disappointing and far more stressful than it should have been.
Sam is very responsive,on point and honest.She listens to what you say and guided us all through the process.As much as we wanted to buy the property we were interested in,she made us feel "yes,this property should be sold to you" and go above and beyond to make the deal a success!!!

This was a first home purchase experience. I felt Sam listened to me and was ultra responsive. When I asked a question she promptly responded and I always felt included in decision making. I think she could improve on information sharing, sometimes too much information was given and it can be overwhelming especially when all information is new. However, I enjoyed her honesty.
