Rather than spend a lot of time trumpeting his own abilities or trying to convince me he's the only agent who can do the job Roger prefers to talk about the local market, which he clearly understands thoroughly. It's not an easy time to sell, and I found Roger to be realistic in his appraisal of what could be achieved. He worked hard trying to negotiate an improvement on the first offer, and there was no pressure to hurry me into a sale for the sake of getting a deal done when the final figure fell short. Another buyer has since emerged with a substantially stronger offer, and we've concluded a smooth transaction with no fuss. I'm very satisfied with his knowledge, communication and professionalism.
