Rick entered into the sale of my property at a time when we moved into level 4 of lockdown. I had just managed to have 3 open homes and it was still summer. This created a number of challenges as the whole 'open home concept' was revised and we became more focussed on 'online marketing'. I was somewhat concerned by not having the volume that I expected but in discussions with Rick we shifted our price range and took appointments. 3 months drifted by and I have to say I was getting somewhat panicky as we had talked up 'an easy sale at the beach'. Appointments were minimal when suddenly....a buyer appeared and offered me a price that I accepted. This offer was 20k below what I would have really liked but given the unsureity of the market it has proved to be a wise decision. Rick is a very thorough agent who loves to share his experiences in real estate. At no stage did he show concern about 'not getting a sale'. Rick has become a kind of 'real estate buddy ' as he is dealing with 2 of our properties ....and we are now hoping that with his guidance property 2 will sell

I had a pleasant experience purchasing my house with Rick. He provided me with all the necessary documents within the same day of me viewing the house. I appreciated his honesty in regards to the property size and securing a bank loan as this is a tiny house. Rick worked with my lawyer at the sales and purchases end and this made all the difference for me and took a lot of the stress away. At the time I was buying this house, I was working long hours in the Operating Theatre as a Nurse. Rick was understanding of my situation and was able to work with me through emails and when I was able to get breaks to make calls. It’s hard for working people to buy houses when they can not get away from their work to a phone. I would often communicate via email late at night or in most cases early in the morning. Rick was able to work with my schedule knowing he was not going to get a quick response. He even used texting to keep me updated and this worked well for me. Rick had been a real estate in Maungaraki for a number of years and his knowledge of the western hills market was finely tuned.
