About Richard

Born and raised in Beckenham before heading overseas, Richard has recently returned to Christchurch after spending the last twelve years in Canada, where he worked in IT and technical support at Ecommerce and Fintech companies. He assisted clients in achieving complex goals, developing a deep appreciation for clear communication, data-driven insights, and ensuring they are equipped for success. Most of all, it’s the meaningful connections with people that truly drive him. Now, as part of the Harcourts Beckenham team, he’s excited to apply this mindset to real estate and helping clients navigate one of life’s biggest decisions with confidence and care. Prior to moving overseas, Richard first found a love of architecture and good design while gaining a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Canterbury. Outside of work, Richard enjoys spending time in the garden looking after his bees, playing golf, reading books, as well as reconnecting with the Christchurch community at the Model Yacht Club in Hagley Park, catching Canterbury Rams’ basketball games, and as a committee member at the Christchurch Beekeeper’s club.
