Rain sold our house during what was a difficult market - prices falling, interest rates nearing a peak and sales volumes at a real low point. We were initially impressed by his friendly and interesting personality, confidence and professionalism. His approach during the marketing of the house was very detailed - from providing thorough information and recommendations around marketing options, making recommendations about how we should prepare our house for viewings, giving weekly reports of open home activity and the status of any potential buyers, and regular communication about any other developments along the way. We always knew how many people were interested, how interested they were, and Rain regularly followed up with everyone who visited the open homes to further gauge interest, obtain price feedback and see whether he could entice them further. We had great activity and interest in our house, and Rain did a great job of getting 8 bidders plus some conditional buyers along to our auction. He and the auctioneer then did a fantastic job of preparing us for the auction, giving us a briefing as to how it was likely to play out, and finally to get us the best possible price for our house in the market. We also really liked the approach they took to the auction, in terms of how the reserve was set, checking in with us during the auction and getting us to give a final OK before announcing the bidding had reached reserve. This was quite different to the experience we'd had with a different agency selling our previous house. We built a great relationship with him and it always felt like we were working together toward the same goal. No regrets and we'd not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others.
