Priyanka Ferdis
We recently purchased our first home through Priya Ferdis. During our first inspection, we noticed that the water pressure in the shower was very low and inconsistent. We raised this concern immediately and were assured that the issue would be fixed before settlement and that we did not need to worry. We followed up multiple times and were consistently reassured that the matter was being taken care of. However, just the night before settlement, Priya informed us that we would need to replace the hot water cylinder ourselves. After moving in, we discovered the issue was far more serious. The hot water cylinder was 38 years old, unsafe, and required immediate replacement at a cost of $3,000 + GST — an unexpected expense we were not prepared for as first-home buyers. Additionally, we requested that the rubbish bins be cleared prior to settlement and were again assured this would be done. Unfortunately, when we moved in, the bins were still full and there was a strong unpleasant odour around the property. As first-home buyers, this lack of transparency and follow-through caused unnecessary stress, inconvenience, and financial burden. It is very disappointing that what should have been a positive and memorable first home buying experience was handled in this way. We would not recommend this agent to first-home buyers who rely on clear communication and honest follow-through.
