Prince seemed to understand the market well, I deeply appreciated the kind and supporting manner in which Prince gave plenty of space for me to look and consider making an offer on 2/19 Laurie Ave.... not being pressured or given unreasonable sales pitch contributed to an overall great buying experience for me. The delays in geting responses from the vendor was difficult and discouraging at times! however it seemed Prince was doing his best to manage these challenges. The vendors son was representing his mum and for the later part of the listing period, he was home in the Uk and the delays in hearing back from him were occasionally frustrating and put a damper on my 'interested buyer experience, so I'm presuming the delay and lack of clarity were solely due to the Vendors Son. As the 2nd top bidder at the Auction, which didn't meet reserve, I was surprised not to hear from Prince in the days following, I had presumed the top bidder and the Vendor had negotiated a sale... only to discover when looking again on Trade me listings that the property had changed to Price by negotiation.... so a recommendation I can offer is; - as an inexperienced and very interested prospective buyer... more communication to support understanding around the process and 'What to expect next' would have helped me, and I fully recognise that the looking around and working out how I could fund this purchase was in itself quite stressful, so many factors were in the mix. Once it was clear that the vendor was interested in my highest offer then the proccess was much smoother and I'm grateful for Prince's professional isim in handling all these aspects.
