Phill orginally sold me this home in 2013 , he went above an beyond to get me in. So getting Phill to sell it for in 2024 was a great way to return the favour. Selling my home of 10 years was very new to me, an to be honest quite stressful . I determined a good price to sell at , an after the first open home someone put an offer in an I excepted ,an although the people who put the finance in at first ,pulled out. They came back after 2 weeks an everything went thru . I would have to say Phill was very pleasant towards me . But I felt like he could have phoned me up to see how I was an reconfirm that everything is good an not to stress out . But due to the buyers letting me down once ,all I could think about was will they do this again. Teresa from Karen Brown Lawyers was amazing , But I never did meet with Karen which was disappointing since I was paying her bill of nearly 2k for handling the sale an money side of things. So mixed feelings really about everything to be honest. It was great to see a big turnout to the open homes. But I was the one who went an advertised my own home on Facebook, to which the buyer of my home contacted me thru messenger an turned up to my first open home an put an offer on it. I had about 15 people on Facebook reply to my advert an most turned up to the open homes ,2 open homes in total. So I had to ask myself why wasn't my home advertised on there at the same time as it went on the market. I'm not ungrateful to Phill at all . But marketing someone's pride an joy ,an there first home could've been better. Specially the write up about the home. When lodge property rentals advertised it to rent , they made my house sound like a palace, so it made me think why wasn't it advertised in a similar fashion when it was for sale, especially when lodge was selling it . So I hope that there are some learning from my experience moving forward for Lodge in general . But thank you Phill , I appreciated you selling my home . Cheers
