I don't normally write reviews but wanted to write this one to highlight Paul Dodd's hard work, professionalism, good communication skills and dedication to his client/s. I have worked with many agents over the years in different countries, buying and selling real estate, and can honestly say that Paul has been one of the best that I have seen over that time. I have worked with Paul for eighteen months or so, auctioning my property in the Eastern suburbs and also, with his help, purchasing a property in an inner city suburb. I was impressed by his efforts to achieve the best result for my property on auction day, with a considered analysis of the current market, development of targeted marketing strategies adapted to the property to attract potential purchasers into the property over the four weeks pre-auction, communicating effectively about the property to buyers, working with me to provide further information to potential purchasers about the property as needed, and making sure that potential buyers were fully informed and felt ready to bid on auction day. It's easy to sell properties when the market is hot, harder when the market is going through a flat period. On Paul's advice, we staged the property (rather than showing it empty) and this proved to be a key factor in selling the property; potential purchasers could see just how nice the property could look with the right furniture in place and could imagine themselves enjoying living there. Paul assessed the value of my property prior to the sales campaign and this proved to be very accurate; we achieved above that price on auction day, after turning down three lower pre-auction offers. I am certain his knowledge and expertise of the real estate market helped achieve the result that we ended up with. Overall, I would strongly recommend Paul Dodds to anyone wanting to sell their property for his professionalism, excellent communication skills and integrity.
