Originally we had privately listed the home, thinking it would be relatively straight forward. We were quickly overwhelmed, Paul was a saving grace. He responded to the queries, questions and was proactive with communication. The house sold for more than what we originally anticipated. We now see the value in using an agent, Paul made it quick, easy and maximised the value the property sold for. When Paul said he could sell my Fathers home in a couple of weeks, I really didn't believe him. But living in Auckland and trying to organise a house sale in Mosgiel and pack it up in a week, I had to go with the first agent I selected. I also had a private buyer lined up, but could only give them a couple of days to make a decision, I decided Paul's lowest expected price less his commission / fees would be a fair price, and rounded down to the nearest thousand. They couldn't decide in the time given so I listed. Paul agreed to wave his commission if this buyer came forward and was the excepted offer. After just two and a bit weeks, Paul presented me with four offers. One well below the mark, two at what I was expecting, and one well above the others. On top of this Paul was a great help at the final clean out of the house. We left it dressed, but basically cleaned out, he let the auction house in to do the final pickup, then flicked what was left off on facebook marketplace. To me above and beyond what is expected of an estate agent. Great to have a great result in such a short time
