Nicola's hard work and professionalism in the local real estate market has been a feature for many years. Motueka is a small town and word gets around very quickly as to who delivers the best outcome for vendors and purchasers. Thus, it was an easy decision to ask Nicola to look after the selling of our property. Although suggesting an auction as the preferred method took a little bit of adjustment for me because as a buyer, I have always been a fan of knowing the price a vendor is looking to achieve with their property. But now Nicola was asking us to trust her that an auction would secure the best deal. In a seller's market I could understand the logic of an auction, but when the market was quiet, as it is now, I wasn't so sure. But her advice about how we should market the property and what she would do to draw as many potential buyers through as she could, convinced us that it would turn out for the best. And it did. A well put together advertising programme, a detailed breakdown of the open homes and reaction from viewers of the property helped assuage us that we were doing the right thing.
