We looked at this property initially knowing it was going to auction within a day or so, which did not leave us time to arrange finance so that we could bid at an auction. However, we asked Nick to let us know if it did not sell at auction as we wished to place an offer. Nick helped us through all that. including one memorable drive from Napier to Auckland, pretty much all of which was occupied with the negotiations and we learned our offer had been accepted just as I arrived in Auckland. Nick was personable, professional and helpful to us; of course, as he was engaged by the vendors he was working to secure the best deal for them, and I have no doubt he achieved that.
