My first job was in the local Lands and Deeds and Companies Office, dealing with local businesses and their land and company registration requirements.
After gaining a B Com at Otago University, I worked in conveyancing, wills, powers of attorney, family trusts, estate, and investment planning. I then moved into a leadership role leading a team throughout the Southland, and Central Otago Regions, in client service and sales.
A family, self-employment and a stint at a local bank followed while working for the local tertiary education provider. Continuing to study, I have completed my Master of Applied Management, specialising in regulation in the residential housing market.
