Along with many years coaching rugby, Murray spent over a decade as president of the Kamo Cricket Club. He was the forming member of the Kamo Sports Charitable Trust Board and sat as chairman for some years, working hard toward the establishment of a new cricket and tennis club room facility. Murray also worked as the chairman of St John, providing a platform for the delivery of St John services to Whangarei. In younger days he played representative sports in various codes as well as running marathons. Nowadays Murray enjoys time on the ocean with rod in hand when possible. Murray and his wife Leah work together to provide a first rate service. Leah is the administration engine in the partnership. After a great number of years in crucial administration and support roles within large companies, most clients have their expectations exceeded by the level of communication and care that is provided during the sales process.
