Working with Matt to get our first home was a pleasure and definitely made the whole process less stressful then it needed to be. When we first met him at the open home he was open and honest about his background and I think something for me that stood out was that he had worked for the big real estate firms and now is just working for himself, together with his outlook of how things should be it gave us trust and confidence that Matt was the right one for the sale. He is very professional, very good market knowledge and was just a joy. Being our first home there was alot of questions that we had and a few things that we wanted negotiated and he was always prompt with replies and with communicating with the vendors. Basically if we needed to do this again Matt would be the guy we would trust in this process.

I entrusted Mathew Russell to sell my home for me in Mt Maunganui recently. It is with much pleasure we give this testimonial for Matthew Russell. We met Matt when we sold our last house in Tauranga in 2017. He was a consummate professional in everything he did, keeping in contact and updating us at every stage of the selling process. Our house's were 'plaster' house, famed for being part of the 'leaky building' syndrome, which made it even more difficult for us to sell. Even though they were not leaky buildings, the public perception is that they all leak. But in this most recent sell and our last one Matt left no stone unturned in achieving a sell for us. On several occasions the potential buyers put many obstacles in the way and Matt overcame each and every one to get us over the line. When we decided to sell this recent house we thought we would try another agency renowned for cheaper commissions, that was a mistake on our part, the house did not sell and we had to rent it out again until we were in a position to afford to sell it. His patience and empathy in this situation was above and beyond what would have been expected of him. We had 3 offers on the house (we had not had 1 from the previous agency) each one more than the other and we achieved a much larger sell price than we would have envisaged, so we are absolutely rapt.
