For the past 35 years, real estate has been my life. For me, it’s not just a job, it’s a calling. I’ve seen many changes over the decades and I still have the same enthusiasm today as I did on day one! I think the most important lesson I learned very early on was that quality service is the key to bring about a successful sale. I also like to keep up-to-date with the latest marketing trends so I can advise and guide my clients accordingly. I recognise that each property is unique, and also that some properties benefit from small adjustments and attention to detail. I will often make suggestions to my clients about how they can enhance the presentation of their home, in order to attract more buyers, speed up the sale and boost the eventual selling price. No stranger to renovation, I recently totally stripped and renovated one of my own properties. I had it ‘staged’ and then put it through an Auction programme with a premium sale result. It was a test on the ‘textbook’ Auction process – presentation, marketing and method of sale. I have lived in the Whitford and Howick area since 1974 and have a sound knowledge of the local area, both historic and up-to-date. I’m a keen horsewoman and live on a lifestyle block – I’ve been involved in the Whitford Pony Club for most of that time and am currently one of the longest serving active members. It will come as no surprise that when not selling real estate, you’ll see me with gumboots on, in the horse paddock or riding my horse Chatterbox and until recently competing in dressage at Level 4. Riding is a lifetime passion. My son Robert is the local builder “Emphasis Homes”, so you could say that a flair for real estate runs in the family.

Unsurpassed Local Knowledge
