I first met Mark earlier this year at an open home in Westmoreland. He called me back and enquired what I thought about the house he was marketing for sale. I explained to him that my wife and I were only viewing what was available in the area at the time and no decision proceeding further was being considered until after I had completed hormone and radiation treatment for prostate cancer. In the following months, he would call occasionally to see how we both were handling it all. His empathy and kindness in this regard went a long way and a friendship of sorts occurred. In around late September, we agreed on having an appraisal on our property and, soon after, we signed up a Residential Agency Agreement. Mark marketed our property well. He was absolutely great, recommending we go to auction. This was our first time selling a property as we had lived in this home for over 45 years. We were overwhelmed by his knowledge of the process and assisted us from beginning to end with a great result. He was always available for any questions we had, regardless how trivial they may be or not. That result provided us with the confidence that we had made the right choice with Mark Fountaine.
