We can't speak highly enough of Marie. We started a 4 month search for a Christchurch property via coming in and out of the city from elsewhere in NZ. It took half that time to get a handle on the city layout and the range of locations available and then whittle down to what we wanted where. This meant an ever-changing brief for Marie who seemed to take it in her stride. With each change in direction Marie would quickly send through a number of options to get us started and then she would follow up almost daily with latest listings. Being a CHCH local Marie could tell us all about the various suburbs and type of housing we could expect to find in each meaning the process was concise as some places were just not going to be suitable. Other areas we had to see for ourselves, and Marie happily drove us or led the way from one side of the city to the other. We let Marie know when we were coming to town and list of properties we'd like to see and shortly after she would reply with an itinerary for our visit and viewings having rung around agents and organised access etc often outside the usual open home times. Her itinerary, thankfully, always included a stop for coffee and chat to talk over what we had seen so far so all the viewings didn't become a blur. Marie went the extra mile in asking the hard questions when needed and doing little extras like approaching neighbours to properties and asking how they found the area, pros and cons etc. After a long search we had success and Marie played a vital role at Auction as we were out of the country on the day. Marie discussed all aspects of selling my property with me and answered my many questions and was able to ease my mind of any concerns. She was very approachable with a positive attitude and made herself readily available at all times for extra viewings and follow ups with me. Because my property wasn't occupied at the time of selling, she went out of her way to arrive early turning on the heat pumps and lights and sweeping up any leaves at the door etc. I highly recommend Marie as an Agent she was such a pleasure to deal with.

Buying a house in itself can be a tad stressful process especially if its your first time.
