With more than seven years in real estate, I am proud to work alongside my husband, Paresh Patel, as part of his team at Barfoot & Thompson Onehunga. Together, we provide clients with a personal, professional and well-managed real estate experience, with my role focused on communication, organisation and practical assistance throughout the buying and selling process. I bring valuable industry knowledge, a strong commitment to exemplary customer service, and a genuine focus on making each client’s property journey feel as smooth and positive as possible.
My background includes experience in property finance, where I coordinated documentation between solicitors, mortgage advisers and customers to help settlements proceed on time. Prior to this, I built a 24+ year career in telecommunications across customer service, service delivery, project coordination and implementation roles. Together, these experiences have given me strong skills in communication, accuracy, problem-solving and relationship management - all highly valuable when guiding clients through the property process.
Real estate is a people-focused industry, and that is what I enjoy most. I genuinely love meeting people, listening to their needs and helping them feel confident and informed. I bring warmth, care and attention to detail to my role, and I strive to make every client’s experience as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Outside of work, family is very important to me. Paresh and I have two grown-up sons, and together we enjoy cricket, movies and family trips.
I am fluent in English, Gujarati and Hindi, and am happy to assist clients who value specialist language support.
