That is not quite correct, Richard. I would never have said that the Vender needed to sell urgently; I would have said they were motivated. genuine sellers who had made an offer on another property. They were not time-pressured. I wanted to encourage you to make an offer if the existing one didn't go ahead, as I could see you were very keen on the house and thought you had a good chance of getting it. (Most buyers ask what the vendors' motivation is for selling.)
