Firstly, Lizette didn't have the easiest of positions when we first marketed our property. It was still in the process of being renovated and some fairly important areas were still unfinished. We wanted to take it to market as we had taken the step of committing to another property. It was also right on Christmas time. Lizette took it all in her stride, kept the momentum going, staved off any concerns from potential purchasers and forged on ahead through the touchy times. The outcome was, our property sold over our initial asking price within the next 2 months (once everything was finished). We now get to stay here as tenants for the next 12 months and enjoy all we have achieved. It was very much a win/win for both ourselves as vendors and the purchaser. Icing on the cake was the beautiful congratulatory gift from Lizette of Champagne flutes with the bottle of champagne to go with them on settlement date.
