Well well well... a month later we have settled in our new home all thanks to our agent Liam!!! We planned out from the start of 2025 by keeping an eye out on the market for the right time, once we were set, we made the decision. December came through with Christmas around the corner, we got in touch with Liam Burton from Harcourts and the ball was rolling from there! We have met a few agents along the way but it did not have that click. However, Liam was at another level. At initial meet up for the viewing, Liam made us feel welcomed and explained everything from start to finish whether taking the time with pen and paper on each list to check and also going the extra mile to negotiate and communicate on our behalf through day and night, keeping us up to date through the whole process. From presenting the offer to vendors, recommending services like builders report, LIMS.. all was done before New Years. We would wonder how the Christmas break would put us at a crossroad but Liam was efficient and proactive throughout. We asked the question, he answered! Very kind and very friendly with excellent customer service skills that made the experience a breeze. He was compassionate and just ready to make it work! From start to finish, Liam was never absent, always able to reach him and ask any questions needed. New Years, we have went unconditional and with a blink of an eye, our settlement day came. Most exciting time of our lives and to start off the year without any concerns! We got the KEYS!!! Liam, you are one of the agents people cannot lose. We found Liam a pleasure to work with. He listened carefully to the requirements we had requested in a new home. Always ready to find new properties and/or follow up on our requests for information or direction. Very reliable in responding to any queries we had, no matter how minor they may have seemed to us. His preparation for us to view homes was exceptional, whether his own listing or that of other agents. We are grateful for the original chance meeting that we had with Liam and the opportunity to then have him as our agent in the Waikato as we looked for a new home and we would recommend him to anyone who is doing the same. We appreciated his patience and understanding in a situation that could be very stressful.

We searched for our first home periodically for over a year. We initially worked with an agent that repeatedly showed us homes we couldn't afford. It was disappointing and demotivating. Eventually, we got back into it and met Liam at an open home. We immediately felt heard, and understood. When he offered to pick us up and drive us around to a few we'd lined up - I was impressed to see this level of service and dedication post Covid. He had to show us more than a few homes, but he did pull the winner when he got us early access to home that hadn't yet been listed. We moved quick and managed to secure our first home just days after seeing it. What a relief!
