I had been looking at purchasing property in a neighbouring suburb and nothing was quite the right fit. I quickly decided to only look at property to purchase through Josh and Laura, as they were so attentive to finding the right property for me. Laura called me one day and said her and Josh had an off market opportunity that she thought might interest me. The viewing was set up promptly at a time to suit myself and the tenant. Whilst at the property Josh and Laura were able to tell me all about the area and future development close by. They live in the neighbourhood themselves and their local knowledge was second to none. They were able to answer most questions I had about the home at the property and they also followed up afterwards after speaking with the owners to answer everything I wanted to know in relation to the builders warranty. Josh and Laura were extremely professional at all times. It was at times overwhelming for me to think about how I could make a smaller home work after living in much larger homes for many years, but Josh and Laura went above and beyond to come up with practical solutions to upgrade my new home to suit my needs without spending a fortune. I mentioned to them after I had purchased that I had a large piece of outdoor furniture that was very sentimental to me that I later realised access to the back yard was going to be an issue in order to get it in there. They calmly took charge of the issue and spoke with two of the neighbours for access to their back yards and also organised extra man power to assist in getting the furniture in place. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Throughout the process they made sure the whole transaction was smooth, down to seeking extension to allow for the sale of my property, renegotiation of terms and adjusting settlement date to tie in with the settlement at the time when my property sold. Very Encouraging because not having sold real estate before I was Pessimistic in my mind this would be tough. Laura was encouraging. She kept me informed and always returned my calls. We attracted a very interested buyer and with the help of Laura we worked through some tricky "bits" you would not have expected. I bought the house more or less before it was built in 1974. Her knowledge was helpful in all the things you need to do. Legal, water, power. The advertising was very well done and well thought out because we listed before Xmas and started advertising then and again into the new year. Needless to say my wife has a rental house which she wants to sell and we are talking to Laura to sell her house as well. The final outcome was better than I had expected.
