Kris Bright
We would not recommend using Kris Bright and advise others to proceed with caution. Our experience fell well short of basic expectations for professionalism, communication, and representation. It became increasingly clear throughout the process that Kris was not effectively representing our interests as vendors, and at times appeared to be advocating more strongly for buyers. This was particularly concerning when information about our position was shared with prospective buyers, which ultimately contributed to a very tight and unfavourable negotiation outcome. (This is further evidenced in the review shared by the buyer of our property). Communication was a consistent issue. We often had to follow up, repeat ourselves, and step in to resolve matters that should have been handled by the agent. Interactions at times were also unprofessional, including an instance where Kris raised his voice and spoke to us in a confrontational manner over the phone when we were seeking clarity. This was not acceptable, particularly given the stress of the process. From a delivery perspective, there were multiple avoidable errors. Marketing materials required several corrections (including incorrect photos being uploaded), timelines were poorly coordinated, and key details such as buyer qualification were not identified early. We ended up managing parts of the process ourselves to ensure things were completed properly. Overall, we expected a higher level of care, attention to detail, and alignment with our instructions. Instead, the experience added unnecessary stress and work at an already challenging time. Based on our experience, we strongly recommend being very cautious before engaging Kris Bright.
