I worked with Kim for well over one year to market, including during covid, and eventually sell the property. She initially worked with another real estate company and we decided to shift the property with her to the new agency she worked for. Kim kept us informed at all times and was fully transparent and displayed integrity to my wife and I throughout the process. After the sale was confirmed I was informed that the owner of the branch Kim worked for was advertising that he was responsible for the sale of our land. I had never had contact with this person and requested that he remove his name however I never received any response from him. He did however contact my lawyer asking for the real estate commission to be paid early so the new owners could be given the property keys on time. This displayed that lack of knowledge the agency owner had of the sale as bare land was sold. I understand Kim has moved from this agency due to a range of issues. She is entitled to her full fee from selling my property as I only dealt with here and I hope the owner of that agency does not profit from a property sale that he had nothing to do with. Kim has shown integrity throughout the time I have known her and I wish Kim all the best for the future, and recommend her services to other sellers and buyers.
Kim had the knowledge to market the property effectively and fairly from the buyer and sellers' perspectives. She both appreciated and respected the situation that seniors sometimes require a support person and our experience of this was second to none. She was very open with her communication, including the support person in everything and making it as easy as she could for the older purchaser. We loved this about her. Being a lifetime local, Kim knew the area, it's potential and the neighbours, enabling us to know this was a comfortable place for dad to be. We too are locals of a lifetime, and giving thought to purchase in an area that had not been considered, was by chance, with Kim's suggestion of viewing a property to show options re size etc. At no time did we feel pressured or question what we were being told - Kim is as honest as the day is long and understands, without a doubt, her professionalism is what drives her role and success. Following the purchase, ICP numbers were sought for us without fuss and promptly. Kim made the journey a safe, fun and successful one, without burden and stress. We also found the auctioneer to be a decent, respectful person who explained everything, as Kim said he would. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kim. For out of towners, Kim knows her stuff and follows up requests positively.
I couldn't recommend Kim enough, She made the process easy to understand, walking me through everything ensuring I understood fully, and that I was happy. More so, she showed compassion, integrity and support in a time where parting with my late mothers home was difficult. You would only need to meet Kim once, to know that you were in the right hands.
