The impression started as soon as I have received a phone call in October 2022, after hunting for a home on our own for almost 3 months. After visiting many open home and dealt with many agents, one more call was not different to others. Kayde sounded genuine and was keen to help us which had us feeling hopeful that we may finally find our home. What really made the difference is Kayde listened to us and met the brief. There had been other agents persuading us left and right to attend auctions knowing that it would be out of our budget just to get numbers into the auction room. However with Kayde, the conversations felt genuine and with honesty. After going through a number of open homes, most of them were good but not “perfect”, we were ready to give it a rest. And I’m thankful that Kayde was consistent with checking in to see our progress and sending us properties to look through. He was always available if we had any questions, worked around our schedules. At this stage we had not seen a property we wanted to purchase, and for all we know, all his hard work could be for nothing. At this stage my partner and I have decided to give up looking at anything before Christmas. Just as well that Kayde didn’t give up on us, almost 2 months later we have finally found the “perfect one”. The entire negotiation process felt extremely easy, and now 6 months after moving to Auckland we are ready to move in to our new home!
