We purchased a home with our son and daughter-in-law, who live in Nelson. My husband is a NZ citizen, but we reside in another country. We had quite a limited time to look for a house on this trip. Kat was very knowledgeable about inventory; when the first house we saw was not quite right, she quickly pivoted to 2 others for which she arranged showings the next day. We chose the 2nd of the 2 we saw. She was very proactive in facilitating the acceptance of our offer prior to our return home 6 days later. We were impressed and extremely grateful for her efforts on our behalf during the whole process, especially as we navigated this from afar. It Is my first time purchasing a home and I wasn't sure what to expect but everything went smoothly.

Kat had done her research on the area and properties that had recently sold and those that were on the market. Kat was honest in and open when we were discussing our plans, priorities and asking price. It is so refreshing to deal with an agent who listens to you and your requirements but is not prepared to agree on everything just to get the listing. The conversations we had as a couple with Kat were very open and honest where we came to an agreed price point, sales strategy, feedback plan and timeframe. At no point did we feel pressured to list, drop our price expectation or sign up to something we did not want. We also loved the fact that there was no expectation/requirement to have open homes which we did not want. Both Kat and Dylan were such a pleasure to deal with and just so down to earth.
