Professionally handled, but result was disappointing
I invited Kale to sell my house based on his excellent ratings on this web-site. When rating an agent, it is difficult not to be heavily influenced by the final result, which in my case was quite disappointing. Three open homes did not lead to a credible bid, and eventually the house was sold 10% under his up-front market assesment. While he obviously can't be blamed for what the market is like, it did feel as if Kale had already given up on this aspired price before the first open home had even happened, and this has probably cost him a few stars in this assessment. On the good side, he seems to know his stuff, the process was overall well communicated, the sale itself was professionally handled, and Kale was willing to go out of his way to ensure some bits and pieces were handled, which was very much appreciated as I'd already left town. At the beginning I was a bit unclear about which peripheral activities his team would/would not get involved in (out of: house cleaning, photography, staging, gardening, etc) and maybe the agency could have a better network of support professionals for these, but this is just a minor point for consideration.
