We were looking for a home for just over two months, we didn't want to rush anything and wanted to view as many as possible. We found a couple we put bids on but they went out of our budget. The house we ended up buying was one we thought no just one too many downsides or so we thought until a colleague mentioned you can't get all the ticks on your go list and to give it a try. So we went back viewed it again and thought yeah ok we can see ourselves in it, put in a bid haggled and got it just before Christmas hit. Move in was mid January due to everyone on well deserved holidays and we have found the whole experience somewhat tiring but rewarding when you can say hey those are my walls or my lawns and not worry about a landlord to fry you for things. Overall check your finances check your options don't rush and try to stick to a budget you can control and still have holiday money. Thanks so much to LJ Hooker and our Mortgage Broker very helpful throughout the whole experience.
