One of the best things that we did was seeking Jo's advice many months before listing: on how best to present the property and which items were likely to stall a sale. Jo provided very practical and sensible feedback, based on her sales experiences and her purchasers' voices. This knowledge allowed us to focus the sale-preparation with optimal value-add spending. Once we were listed, things moved pretty quickly in a rapidly changing market. Our initial expectations of a price point were recalibrated, with frequent Open Home feedback and ongoing assessment of the current market. We needed to keep the dialogue active, due to the selling climate. All of these things gave us a fair selling price for our property and the desired timelines were met.
