I first contacted Jenny by phone from Invercargill and asked about the property at Hikurangi which my wife and I now own, which she had advertised on TradeMe. She was very positive, attentive and helpful in this conversation, to the extent that I was keen to avail myself of her offer to show me around when I visited Whangarei the following week. She was not at the open home I made sure to attend, even though I knew there was already an existing offer on it, but her colleague standing in for her (while Jenny fronted another simultaneous open home for another agent away for Labour Weekend) was very welcoming and helpful. Jenny later rang to urge me to put in a prompt back-up offer, since I and my daughter both felt this house was the most desirable of any of the twenty or so we had raced around for the two days we were up. Lisa in the office was very helpful in immediately co-ordinating the necessary paperwork and Jenny gave valuable advice on the bare essentials I as buyer should include in this immediate offer. A tense ten- day wait was followed by success. Jenny was very efficient in supplying comprehensive info on the whole process and seemed as overjoyed as we were on the unconditional date! When I finally met her when she attended to hand over the keys, her real life presence was as impressive as her long-distance contacts had been. She is a very capable and well-presented agent who shows a genuine interest in her clients: undoubtedly an "elite" and special real estate salesperson, backed by a very friendly and competent staff.
