We met Jane when we arranged a private viewing with her of a suburban property in Alexandra. We came away impressed by her welcoming, friendly yet professional manner. She put us at ease, didn’t hurry us as we looked around, and answered all our questions. It was this meeting that convinced us to send her our new-home wish list and ask if she’d keep us in mind and alert us to any properties coming onto the market in her area that ticked all – or most – of our boxes. She agreed to do so, and soon got back to us about a promising rural property in Letts Gully. Living and working near Wellington, we knew we'd have to make the most of what would necessarily be only a short visit to check it out – and Jane ensured we did just that. First, she arranged private viewings of both the Letts Gully property and another a few minutes’ drive away we thought had potential (but which we decided against). This allowed us again to be unhurried in our inspection and ask any questions that occurred to us. The next day we attended the Letts Gully open home, after which Jane had arranged for us to stay on and meet the owner, who also proved forthcoming with help and information. The day after that, having had that opportunity to strike up a rapport with the owner, we felt comfortable contacting them again and popping in for one last look, taking some measurements and photos and gleaning yet more details. This was going to be an especially big move for us, from the North Island to the South, and such ample exposure to a potential new home gave us the confidence we needed to decide to make an offer. When that offer turned out to be a little lower than some others, the owner, thanks to the relationship we'd been given the opportunity to form with them, gave us the chance, via Jane, to improve it and so secure the purchase. Jane proved adept at bringing together two parties to their mutual satisfaction. Her dedication to our cause served that of the owner. We couldn’t have been happier.
